Realme X2 Pro Review: Design and Build
In looking at the phone, it looks very similar to Realme XT. Realme has also not reduced the material for the device this time and only metal and glass have been used in the structure.
The display and rear side Gorilla Glass 5 protection are given, as well as metal on the side frame. Unlike the XT, here you have the camera set up in the middle of the back panel which is slightly raised. Realme X2 Pro review: display
The X2 Pro features a large 6.5-inch display with AMOLED panel and Gorilla Glass 5 protection. The specialty of this display is its 90Hz refresh rate.
The higher refresh rate is obviously good for gaming but at the same time, it makes the scrolling and animation very smooth. Users who use a 90Hz display from 60Hz for the first time will see the difference clearly.
The AMOLED panel given in the phone is quite sharp, which you can use in sunlight. The colors on the display are slightly over-saturated, apart from this, colors are not as well-liked in natural mode. We would suggest you use the middle option only.
Realme has given a TUV certified blue-light filter here but the white-tone is still visible on the blue side. In the display settings, you have the option to adjust the color temperature, then you can select the warm tone in both color profiles yourself.
Color OS also has the option of DC Dimming which proves to be very good for your eyes at low-brightness. Along with this, there is also the system-wide dark mode and Always-on mode which looks quite attractive due to AMOLED display.
Realme X2 Pro Review: Camera
Realme has entered the flagship league with the X2 Pro, so now the expectation for camera performance is also high. For now, the level of camera performance in the 20 to 30 thousand segments is not much better.
The phone has used Samsung GW1 64MP sensor in Realme, this sensor is recently seen in Redmi Note 8 Pro and also in Realme's first 64MP camera phone Realme XT. Both these options are also available in the market at a very low price but can be compared to photography itself.
Apart from the primary sensor, this 8MP wide-angle camera lens has also been provided which is capable of taking 2.5cm macro short in addition to wide short. Also included in this quad setup is a 13MP telephoto lens with 20x hybrid zoom and a 2MP depth sensor.
On the front side, you get to see a 16MP selfie camera, which has been given space in the notch.
Talking about details, the output of the rear camera is very good. When you compare the image taken of Realme X2 Pro with Note 8 Pro and K20 Pro, you get better details and texture.
Realme's image processing is the same as before, with a little more exposure. This means that you will see the image output bright and clear, but the shadow decreases slightly due to which the image cannot be called natural. One thing is sure that Xiaomi's image processing looks more natural.
The dynamic range of the camera is quite good. The camera software does not capture bright red color tones as much as the color is over-saturated.
Realme X2 Pro Review: Performance and software
In terms of performance, Realme X2 looks much better on paper with its price towards a powerful device. The simple reason for this is the high-end items used on the phone. In X2 Pro, you have been given Snapdragon 855+ chipset, 256GB UFS 3.0 storage, and up to 12GB RAM.
In PUBG phones, it can be easily seen on Ultra-HDR and Extreme-HDR combination. Apart from this, more games like Asphalt 9, COD, Injustices 2, Mavel Future Fight can also be played without a frame drop. After 40 minutes of gaming, there is a 5-degree increase in temperature and 8% battery consumption.
Realme has used 4xMIMO antenna here so that you do not feel any shortage in data and Wifi usage which will give you the most benefit while watching gaming and online media content.
Color 6 has been used as a software that will soon be upgraded to Color 7, so let's see what new things you will get in the new software, but for now, there is only room for improvement in the software.
The phone has DRM L1 certification, according to which you can see content in HD streaming on Prime and Netflix. Apart from this, unlocking the phone also gives a very good experience. Both the in-display fingerprint sensor and face unlock are quite fast.
Realme X2 Pro Review: Battery & Audio
Personally, what I liked about the device is its battery performance. Its battery experience is much better than any phone. The 4,000mAh battery is fully charged in just 30 minutes and is able to give you 1 day of backup easily. If you charge the phone with gaming then it is charged at 20W.
At the time of our review, we have no problem with battery or charging.
As far as audio is concerned, the X2 Pro uses ultra-liner dual front speakers that come with support for Dolby Atmos. The audio output is quite sharp and is also clear, you only have a little bit of distort at full volume.
Realme X2 Pro Review: Verdict
In its first flagship introduced by Realme, the latest trendy features have been introduced much better. At this price, this performance is very wireless, due to which Realme X2 Pro is clearly better than Redmi K20, Asus 6Z, and in addition to being slightly higher in price, OnePlus 7T and ROG Phone 2 also lag behind.
X2 Pro is a very good option for those who like mobile gaming, but even if you do not give much priority to the best gaming hardware, this device can prove to be the best option for you within 30 thousand rupees.
